Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2009 The Real Issues

Andhra Pradesh Assembly goes for polls in 2009/10.....
Already all parties in Andhra Pradesh are sniffing them, rightly so gearing up for the big battle, and looking for the right mantra to win it for them, but really do the political parties having the right and real issues in their manifestos?
In any election, anywhere in India, are never fought on real issues, issues related to common man,
Why parties are after Rs2 kg Rice, Free Power? When there are many real issues on which they have to take some stand....
For instance
The plea of the farmers for Crop insurance and stopping adulterated, fake pesticides and seeds!!

The plight of handloom workers, small scale industries!!

Alternative Energy exploration plans to answer the power crisis and increasing energy needs

Providing Free Education to women till higher secondary or graduation, as well for boys and under privilege sections and economically backward

Exploring other ways to fill up revenue demands thereby allowing reducing liquor encouragement

Reviewing present Health Schemes, and planning for better schemes with the help of private hospitals, and other health organizations

Corruption control by being transparent and sticking to process

the list can go so on and so forth......

These are few issues on which people would show interest to vote, but no party would want to raise these issues as it is very difficult to implement and if implemented it might shake up their base.

Crop insurance gives confidence to the farmer and will reduce the suicides that are taking place quietly every day.

The main problem is fake pesticides and seeds which make the crop fail, this has to be tackled in every sense and farmers should be cautioned, educated and enlightened.
Same with handloom workers and other small scale industries, Parties should have clear stand on supporting them and encouraging them.

The next one on the cards is looking for alternative energy resources, as natural oil and petroleum reserves are used up at alarming rate, investing in solar, wind, bio gas, and nuclear power with stronger vision on issues like pollution and warming of earth, climate changes thereby suffice of increasing energy needs and capping wastage of energy. This would prove that parties have some direction and think about the future and foresee events and getting ready/attain sustainability

Coming to Education, why are we always want to have IITs in the state? Why can’t we think secondary to IITs why can’t we setup those standards in our own universities / colleges??
We can strive and achieve this by concentrating on high standards right from primary education but parties just want to have those three letters 'I I T'
next in the lines
Girl child should be encouraged to have education and should be provided free by every institution including private holdings.

Coming to important task of filling up the revenues and strengthening state cash reserves at the loss of liquor sales , Sectors like Tourism, SEZs, IT, Power sales should be given some thinking to fill in the gap and the increasing needs .,
These cries will always fall in deaf ears,

Well these are some of the issues that political parties should consider but not Rs. 2 kg rice ,or 8 hours free power to farmers, employment to every youth ?? Pension to every old?? Colour TV, Ration Card to every household ??
I would wish may be may be one of the political person reads this and gives a thought, that would be enough for all this saying
Parties should come out of their comfort zones of luring people with their mantras, and fight on real issues

Its time to think out of box for the parties!!!
Hope they are listening and can read my words and lips and understand and implement!!!

As i said crop insurance should be made default for a nominal premium, which will insure the common farmer against natural clamities, pest attacks.
There should be strict actions and crub the fake pesticides.

Quality Education for 10 continous years from age 7, to every child., making them honest, responsible citizen

Alternative Energy resources should be encouranged

Medical facilities in Rural areas and sub-urban areas should be given special concentration.,
